Welcome to the website of the Department of Economics. Economics has a desirable legacy in respect of quality education, training and research to match globalized job markets. Economics subject covers international trade, labour economics, microeconomics, macro economics, industrial economics, Public economics and natural resource economics, including agricultural economics and environmental economics in developed and developing countries.
The department supports Masters, M.Phil and Doctoral Programmes in Economics. Our post graduate program (M.A. in Economics) provides economics - majors with broad information of vital theoretical and empirical features of economics.
